Who we are

Mortal Shell II Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference site for Mortal Shell II, the dark-fantasy action RPG developed by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cold Symmetry, Playstack, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Valve or any other rights holder. All game names, logos, characters and artwork belong to their respective owners.

Data we collect

You can read every page of this wiki without creating an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details.

Like almost every website, the server that hosts this wiki may record standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to build advertising profiles.

Analytics and consent

This site can load Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are useful — for example which pages are read most and where visitors leave. Analytics is optional and consent-based.

No analytics script is loaded until you press "Accept" on the consent notice. If you press "Decline", or simply ignore the notice, nothing is sent to Google. Declining is presented as prominently as accepting, because consent is only valid when refusing is just as easy as agreeing.

Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so you are not asked again on every visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes it and resets the choice.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores two things in your browser’s local storage: whether you prefer the dark or light theme, and whether you accepted analytics. Neither leaves your device for any purpose other than the one described above.

If you decline analytics, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets its own cookies to distinguish returning visitors — see Google’s own privacy documentation for how those work.

Third-party links

We link to official and community destinations such as the Mortal Shell II Steam page, the official website, the official Discord, the official YouTube channel and the community subreddit. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Embedded media (for example a YouTube trailer) may set cookies from that provider once you press play.

Accuracy of game data

Every guide on this wiki is written from publicly available sources and community reports. Values such as review scores, player counts and patch contents are snapshots and change over time, so we label each page with the date it was last verified.

Where a value could not be confirmed, the page says so explicitly instead of guessing.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser and reloading the page — you will be asked again.

You can also request removal of any information you believe we hold by using the contact options listed on the official community channels linked in the footer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent revision.
